LEED Testing

The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) has developed a series of professional credentialing and project certification programs related to green buildings. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification refers to energy and resource-efficient design in homes, healthcare and retail buildings, schools, and even entire neighborhoods.

Credits toward certification are earned by conducting tests on indoor air quality to show that contaminant levels do not exceed the levels noted. Tests for TVOC, Carbon Monoxide, New Rug Odor (4-PCH), Formaldehyde, and PM-10 can be conducted by Micro Air, Inc.
