Brown County Pool and Spa Water Sampling Request Form
Indiana state code requires monthly water testing on semi-permanent pools and spas located in vacation homes throughout Indiana. In cooperation with the Brown County Health Department, Micro Air is offering this testing for pool and spa owners within the county. The cost is $25/sample for the analysis monthly. This can be billed monthly, quarterly or yearly depending on your preference. Samples can be dropped off at the health department Tuesday mornings between 8:00am and 12:00pm. The health department is located at 200 Hawthorne Drive, Nashville, IN.
Sampling kits and instructions will be available beginning in November 2025 and the first sample pickup will be Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Samples must be taken within 24 hours of setup in the laboratory, so we ask for samples to be taken no sooner than Mondays at 3pm. If you do sample on Monday, please refrigerate the sample(s) prior to dropping it off at the health department on Tuesday mornings.
